The Fenmarch is a fairly small region of marshes running along the Mering Stream. It extends from Firien Wood to where the Mering Stream meets the river Entwash. It marks the border between the Kingdom of Rohan to its west and Gondor in the east. The wetlands covering the entire region were formed as a result of Mering Stream flooding the surrounding lowlands.
